At Caring Touch Infant Massage, we believe that every child should feel unconditional love and respect from the person(s) that means the most to them - their parent(s) and/or primary caregivers. Therefore, we've made it our mission to facilitate parent-child bonding, healing, and a deeper communication of love... by teaching parents and primary caregivers the art of infant massage. In doing so, we hope the world will become a more peaceful, loving and accepting place in which to live.

What is Infant Massage?

First brought to the USA in the 1970's by Vimala Schneider McClure, infant massage is a well-researched form of body massage adapted for the physiology of newborn and infant children. Ms. McClure learned the art and therapeutic benefits of infant massage while in India. After observing its many positive effects on many aspects of child development, she returned to the United States and founded the International Association of Infant Massage, where the various Indian and gentle Swedish massage strokes and reflexology that make up infant massage are still taught. Ms McClure is also the author of the book "Infant Massage: A Handbook for Loving Parents."
